Shamika Anderson, a native of Indianapolis, IN began her professional career 16 years ago in the Telecommunications industry. She has successfully managed over 1,500 sub-contractors nationwide. In 2018, she achieved $1.4 billion dollars in revenue for her employer in one quarter by completing fiber construction projects. In 2019, she completed a 47-page RACI Subcontractor Process Playbook. Every achievement is reachable and critical for companies to be successful, with today’s economy, that can be deemed as a difficult task. But nothing is too tough for Shamika.
Obtaining her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University, and an Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech Community College in Business Administration. Growing up in the inner city in low-income housing on the Eastside of Indianapolis, higher education was not a topic mentioned in her household. She wasn’t exposed to programs or organizations that would aide in the development of her future. Despite these humble beginnings and obstacles along the way, she is now a wife, mother, college graduate, technology industry professional and entrepreneur!
