Meet our fifth Boss Babe Brunch 2022 Speaker, Linda Calvin
Linda Calvin is a 20-year veteran of the private IT sector with strengths in communication, law, and global leadership. Linda holds a BA in Journalism from Butler University and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University. Her most recent position was as Vice President of the School of Information Technology at Ivy Tech Community College, where she provided guidance in quality standards, curriculum, and recruiting talent, among many other duties. Previous job titles include Digital IT Leader, Global Digital Product and Marketing Leader, and Assistant City Prosecutor. She holds many board and volunteer positions including Executive Women’s Forum Director for Women & Hi Tech, volunteer Guardian ad Litem and board member for Kids Voice of Indiana, Advisory Board member for both The Guarden LLC and the Six Sigma Racial Equity Initiative in Indianapolis. And most recently joined the board of Rooted Schools Indy. She regularly speaks on panels about tech equity, the tech talent gap and mapping passion to tech. As a woman of color in tech, she is committed to diversity and being visible to young people in the community as Linda has adopted the mantra, “When you See Us, You Can Be Us.”
